Doctor Pir Henrik Ling developed Swedish massage in the 1700’s using the following:
  • Massage that focuses on deeper layers of muscle tissue
  • Massage which enables the release of Chronic tension patterns
  • Uses slow strokes and deep finger pressure on contracted areas
  • Either following or crossing the grain of the muscle fibers, tnedons, and fascia
  • Breaks up and sometimes eliminates scar tissue completely
  • Focus on specific problem areas and may be sore during or after the massage
  • When done correctly, you will feel better in a day or two
